I don’t know everything there is to know about life, but I have learned a few things over the years.
I know that the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. I cannot for the life of me tell you which direction is east without a compass, but I know the fact.
I have the superpower of being able to identify any breed of dog, including mixed breeds. I can teach you the proper way to write an MLA paper and how to distinguish between your and you’re, and there, their, and they’re (please let me teach you).
I know which colors to throw together to make new colors. I still have most of those math equations we think we’ll never use again stored in my memory, just in case. I can tell you that aloe is the best solution to that sunburn and that the ocean is the best solution to everything else.
I know that everyone has a good story when given the chance to tell it. I know children are the ultimate role models. I know that there is beauty everywhere, all the time, no matter what. I know that hard work is worth it. I know that anything can be achieved with the proper amount of determination and positivity.
And I know that no one can feel or look plain while wearing a flower crown. They have instantaneous beautifying powers.
